Testing Regions

Region 1: Northeast Duval, Nassau and Flagler  
Region 2: East Orange, East Osceola, Volusia  
Region 3: Southeast Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade  
Region 4: Central Osceola, Polk  
Region 5: West Hillsborough, Manatee, Hernando  
Region 6: North Central Alachua, Marion  
Region 7: Panhandle Escambia, Okaloosa, Walton  
Region 8: Southwest Sarasota, Lee, Collier  

 

Q: Can my child bring their phone?

Phones, tablets, ear buds, smart watches, or other electronic devices of any kind are NOT allowed in the testing facility. If the student or parent needs to communicate with each other, they must contact their testing site leader.

Q: How should my child dress?

All students must adhere to the dress code below:

  • Close-toed shoes
  • Bottoms that end below the knee (this includes shorts, skirts, and dresses).
  • Tops must have sleeves. No spaghetti strap, off the shoulder, or single strap shirts.
  • Sweater, in case the testing facility gets cold.
  • NO offensive language, graphics, or symbols of any kind on students’ clothing or accessories. 

Q: Can I stay with my child while they test?

Parents and guardians will be asked to leave the testing facility for the duration of the test. The test will last a few hours so, families should plan to do something fun in the area while their child is taking the test.

Q: Does my child HAVE to take this in-person test?

Yes. All Public-school students in the state of Florida are REQUIRED to take this state mandated test. This was also addressed in the original enrollment packet that all families agreed to during their student’s enrollment process. Failure to complete the test can result in consequences.

 

  • Students must bring their school issued laptop and charger.
  • Secure Browsers must be downloaded 1 week before testing.
  • Sweater
  • All parents and guardians must provide photo ID at pick-up and drop-off – (must be 18 years or older)
  • Laptops will be kept throughout the testing period and will be returned to students the last day of testing according to student schedule.
  • Earbuds will be provided for all students.
  • Calculators will be provided, only as required.
  • Only parents, learning coach and emergency contacts specified in the updated survey are allowed to drop-off/pick-up a student. A driver’s license or an official picture id is required – (must be 18 years or older)
  • The name and contact information of the Regional Testing Coach and Assistant Coach will be provided for each testing center. This is the person to contact in case of any emergency. 
  • If for any reason we have technical difficulties and testing is delayed, we will send a blast e-mail/text to all parents. Please check your phones.

  • We are not allowed to give medication.
  • Snacks will be provided.
  • Lunch will be provided for students who will take tests both during morning and afternoon sessions. For dietary restrictions, please complete the Student Health Information Form.
